Today, almost every transaction is completed with a home warranty in place. This is coverage to protect the new homeowner. But what does this protection cover? That's what most people don't understand. They also don't understand that this is not necessarily a free feature. If you have a problem with an appliance or air conditioning unit or whatever, when you call your home warranty provider, there will almost certainly be a house call fee. Now this amount can differ from company to company as does the coverage offered. If you are purchasing a home and are asking the seller to provide a home warranty , do a little research , don't just leave the decision of companies to someone else. After all, this coverage will be protecting YOUR home so why not get the company you want, the one that will do the best job for you.
